Wonderful stay in a quiet and cozy neighborhood! Great hosts!!!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed an extended stay in a unit hosted by Leslie and Alan. They made our visit to Coronado and San Diego area comfortable and extremely pleasant. The unit itself was very spacious, clean and well appointed. We relaxed in a very quiet and lovely neighborhood setting with a secure garage for our vehicle and an assured level of privacy and safety. Both Leslie and Alan are excellent hosts and were responsive to any questions or concerns we had during our visit. They were very pleasant and gracious during our interactions. We will certainly plan a return visit!

Perfect Location
We have stayed several times. Plenty of room with small front porch and large back porch including electric grill. Centrally located just half a block from Spreckels Park. Easy walk or bike to stores, restaurants, the del and beach. Hosts are on site and great to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Very spacious,great location
This was our second year staying in this beautiful, spacious home. The owners, Leslie and Alan, live downstairs and are always around if you have any questions. House is supplied with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It is conveniently located near all the stores and restaurants and within walking distance of the hotel, beach and ferry. We loved the month we spent and hope to return.

We really enjoyed our time during our recent 7 week stay in this property. The unit was very comfortable and clean and it's really quite spacious. The outdoor porches are lovely just to sit and enjoy the weather or the view of the beautiful fruit trees.We found the unit very well equipped with kitchen items as well as sheets and towels and just about anything you could need. The location is fantastic-perfect for walking nearly anywhere in Coronado and our parking needs were graciously accomodated by the owners, who I would be remiss not to mention. Alan and Leslie are very responsive to and respectful of their guests. They obviously care about their guests. All in all, it was a wonderful stay

A change of place
When I go on holiday, I like it to feel very different from what I have at home. This apartment fit the bill. At home in Arizona, I have a small house, with small rooms. Here the apartment in Coronado is huge, open and liberating. It’s a tree house, situated on the 3rd floor of a large, generous house. When you look out the windows, what you see is the tops of the trees. It feels like you are floating, detached from the real world. In addition to the spaciousness of the apartment, I enjoyed the wall to wall carpet. Nowadays, many people have gone off carpets and prefer a wood or ceramic floor. But here that enormous space is covered with soft, clean, cream colored carpet. Oh, how my feet loved that! Another plus: If you open both the front and back patio doors. the ocean breeze sweeps through the apartment. We tried doing this vacation without a car which worked out very well. It helped us be creative. There's plenty of ice cream places on Coronado but one day for our adventure of the day, we just took the ferry over to Seaport village to go to Ben and Jerry’s. All in all, the vacation worked out beautifully.

Gray May but Great Stay
Our accommodations were excellent: bright, spacious, nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet, except for the elementary school 2 doors away. We enjoyed the front and back porches. We used the bicycles that were provided as Coronado has marked bike lanes and paths everywhere. The property is about a 15 minute walk to the Del, beaches and ferry dock.so we rarely used our car. The owners live downstairs, were very friendly but totally respected our privacy. We would stay there again.

We loved this property. The location was perfect, one block from shops, restaurants and the library. The unit was very spacious, clean, bright with lots of windows and decks in front and back. Amazing stay - Perfect Location
Our stay at Alan and Leslie’s condo was more than we could have hoped for. The location was amazing - walk to everything, and yet in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The condo is very well equipped, the kitchen had everything I could ask for, and we enjoyed the grill on the back deck. Alan was very responsive when we had needs or questions - excellent hosts! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Fantastic stay!
Our month long stay here was everything we had hoped for! The property is extremely spacious and airy with two decks, lots of sunlight, and a huge living room/kitchen area. We had 5 of us working here remotely for the entire stay and there was always enough space and the WiFi worked great. The location of the property can’t be beat! It’s right next to the park, and just a 5 minute walk to all of the shops and restaurants, and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Alan was a great host who always responded immediately and was there to help us with anything during our stay. Overall I am so happy we stayed at this property and we will definitely be returning!!

Wonderful place! Great Location! And perfect hosts!!
We stayed in unit 742 for 30 days. Leslie and Alan are great hosts, and make you feel comfortable in your home away from home. They are wonderful people, willing to assist in any way possible to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. The apartment is very clean, well decorated, and has everything you need for a long-term visit to Coronado. The location is right in the center of the island (not really and island), and is walking distance from markets, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Being one block from Orange is convenient, but you get to enjoy the quiet of a residential neighborhood. We love it so much we are staying in unit 744 for another 60 days. We will come back to stay at this residence again in the future! Thank you Leslie and Alan for having us!

The Crown of Coronado
This vacation rental is all about location, location, location – we are retired and legs not what they used to be – still could easily walk to beach, community center, sport fishing, kayak rentals, shops, restaurants, and locations around the ferry. Leslie and Alan were very gracious, responsive, gregarious but not intrusive, in fact quite interesting to converse with, and provided insight into aspects of Coronado that could not be found in travel books. The rooms were spacious, immaculate, and well provided with essentials and the hosts quickly provided items that we requested. Being on the second floor with copious windows and skylights, the rooms were airy and bright with an abundance of that glorious CA sun. Plenty of bikes and beach equipment to keep our grand boys happy when they took the plunge into the Pacific and learned to “boogy” the waves. We prepared many meals and often grilled, utilizing similar utensils, plate ware, condiments, and appliances that would have used “at home”. We travel and live in locations around the world and found this rental to be as enjoyable as any we have had the great fortune to experience. Kudos to the king and queen, Alan and Leslie, for being great hosts.
