"Cortina d'Ampezzo is renowned to be expensive, and therefore this hotel is an excellent find for people who do want to ski in Cortina, but don't want to pay "Cortina prices"! The ladies on reception were very helpful, and breakfast was fine (after a couple of days it does get a bit "samey", but it's ok). Location was good - there is a ski bus opposite which takes you to either of the gondolas, and it's very close to walk into town (good for shopping, we quickly realised that the Cortina apres...
