"Nous y avons passé 15 jours en famille, tout était parfait, l’accueil était chaleureux et les propriétaires sont restés disponibles mais très discret pour nous conseiller sur les différents activités de la région. "The house is just minutes from the beach. Even in early August the beach is not crowded. Water temperatures were around 16 C. The beach gets windy in the afternoon when kite surfers start. There are life guards which adds extra safety. The little town is cute with restaurants, beach cafes and a little grocery store. A train to Porto runs a few times a day. The house itself has some charming aspects such as the ocean view and the hardwood floor. The kitchen has a lot of useful things....

"Emily’s Apartment, was perfect for our seven day stay in Viana do Castelo. Luisa and José met us upon our arrival and directed to our parking space. They also aquatinted us to the apartment. The bottle of wine and chocolates were much appreciated. The apartment is very clean and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Most anything you want to see or do is a short walk once you step outside the door. I highly recommend this little gem to anyone staying in Viana do...

I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away from it all but still within a short drive from the lovely town of Ponte de Lima and also only half hour drive from the likes of Braga and 40 minutes from Porto which were all worth a visit."

"The hotel has the most beautiful views. We were given an upgrade and had a room overlooking both the sea and a the famous church which overlooks the city. At the same time we had a welcome gift of wine, heart biscuits, and grapes. The biscuits and grapes were replenished each day. The breakfast at the hotel was quality and in a beautiful room. "Overall 5 stars but I do want to give a few pointers… if you get there after dark know that the parking will be before you reach the actual hotel building. It’s dark so it will be a little challenging for you to recognize. Once you find the parking it will be super easy. Make sure you get the gate code, room number, and all the check in instructions after you book the reservation because this hotel is self contained which means there will not be a person checking you in. The whole hotel seems brand new. Very clean. Bedroom and bathroom is very small but enough for a short stay. Bed is very comfortable and breakfast has everything you need for a good start of your day! I would recommend this place and would stay there again for sure! "

"Easy hotel to locate and park. A very warm welcome from the host with all procedures well explained. This hotel has an elevator to take bags up to rooms. Rooms are compact but comfortable and clean. Bathroom is a good size and works well. We slept very well and ate a lovely continental breakfast each morning with espresso coffees. We certainly enjoyed our stay and are considering a return stay. Excellent value for your Euro and a worthwhile stay. Thank you Robert. "

"I stayed in this fabulous chocolate hotel in early October when I was walking on the Camino way. After a 10 mile day of walking, it was wonderful to get there and berated with a wine spritzer with chocolate shavings, delicious chocolate bar, and a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was included and was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend this place. "
