"The property location was great, with the beach right outside and lots of shops, restaurants and things for the kids to do. The hotel/apartment itself was comfortable, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. "A lovely museum house and very welcoming environment. Lily was there waiting for me and did a tour of the house of the late Artist. It was a very unique stay. Kitchen was replenished for guests to use. Thank you for a lovey experience."

"The property has an attractive top floor and good seating outside and lovely views of the Douro. It’s billed as being ideal for families who want to holiday together but have their own space but this isn’t really the case. There are no facilities downstairs at all, no fridge, bin, kettle for example. So living separately isn’t possible. The pool is a good size and a lovely addition to the property. "This is an excellent property, bigger than a hotel, with more amenities, and so close to everything. We could walk where we wanted and always felt safe when we got home late. The staff was super friendly and communication was perfect. We will be coming back here when we stay I Aveiro! "

"From arrival to departure we (2 senior couples) were thrilled with the apartment, the ocean view and convenience to restaurants, groceries and transportation. Restaurants and groceries are available within walking distance. Public buses to Porto are available on the same street some 5 - 10 minutes walk from The apartment. The apartment was spotless and kitchen is well equipped. Communication with Marcos was excellent."

"Fabulous home in a beautiful, serene valley. You will definitely feel the love when you arrive here. We were greeted by the whole family bearing, wine, charcuterie, and a pineapple upside down cake. It is always such an honor to stay in one of these family homesteads. Lots of space, beautiful décor, amazing landscaping and views of the village. Enjoy a walk along the river in the flowers and vineyards. This is a great place to relax."

"What a phenomenal find, we were booked at the Se Catedral Tapestry hotel which was a disaster so took to Expedia to find another property. Luckily the Fonte De Gaia had availability and we headed on over. We were welcomed by Liliana & Patricia who are by far two of the best hotel team members we have encountered in all our years, they are a huge asset to the hotel, all team members were five star but these two ladies were 6 star and could not do enough to help us, thank you Liliana & Patricia"

"The hotel was quiet and well decorated. The Porto wine at check in is such a great detail. Bedroom was comfortable, loved the toiletries! Had the chance to use the gym, pool and sauna and everything was in great condition being the pool of a very good size. "
