"The Residence Catalina is a fantastic property, ideally located in a quiet residential part of Saint Florent. It has ample parking, but is within walking distance of the town centre with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. The accommodation offered is 1, 2 or 3 bedroom apartments with outdoor seating (balconies or terraces). The apartments are modern, clean and very functional. We exchanged our two bedroom apartment / 2 bathrooms with balcony for a 2-bedroom / one bathroom and ground floor...

"Big appartment for a budget rate, close enough to the ferry port and nearby supermarkets to allow for walking to and from, but let down by provision of dirty teatowel, hard floors and thin ceilings resulting in no sleep possible until after midnight due to noise (talking and movement) from above. Lack of utilities' instructions meant that coffee maker unusable. Reasonable overall but could be better. Although WiFi signal strong, couldn't get it to connect."

"Clean apartment with kitchen and a barbecue. Two bathrooms and three bedrooms. We traveled two families together (9 people, five children 8-12 years old) and the place was perfect for us. It was a quiet area. A shadowy terrace were we could dine, the beautiful view of the sea, 10 minutes walk from Calvi...I recommend the place and would stay there again if I go back to Calvi. The owners speak only French, and are really nice and friendly."

We had a car which made it much easier to get to: local quiet beaches; Calvi; evening concerts in hilltop villages; and mountain walks. Would be difficult without a car I think, especially out of high season July/Aug when the trains run more often. "The Residence Catalina is a fantastic property, ideally located in a quiet residential part of Saint Florent. It has ample parking, but is within walking distance of the town centre with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. The accommodation offered is 1, 2 or 3 bedroom apartments with outdoor seating (balconies or terraces). The apartments are modern, clean and very functional. We exchanged our two bedroom apartment / 2 bathrooms with balcony for a 2-bedroom / one bathroom and ground floor terrace as we preferred to have access to a BBQ grill. This was granted and worked exceptionally well. Can't fault the Residence Catalina - EXCELLENT."

Belambra Clubs Belgodère - Golfe de Lozari

"Great access to lovely beach, although it does shelve quite steeply so not so suitable for small children. Beach faces west so lovely sunsets. Chalets are adequate. Much nicer than mobile homes/caravans, although they are fairly basic. Unfortunately the kitchens do not have either an oven or kettle although this is not uncommon. Pool was lovely and great for small children too. Staff were polite and site was clean. Plenty of parking in carpark and trolleys were available to move luggage to and from. "
