"Downton Abbey Experience. The host (owner) emphasized it is an "ancestral home." They treated us like the Downton Abbey television show that portrays the 1920's -- without the dressed up staff. Diner was a must for the experience. They treated us like Aunts and Uncles coming to visit. Drinks before dinner in the library.... four course dinner.. drinks after in the library or drawing room. "We booked two rooms at this property only to be told upon arrival that they had misread the booking and only were in a position to give us one room, this was due to the fact they had just sold the other room, good way of making extra money. We did ask the hotel for a return on the other rooms cost but they declined and laughed saying well at least we have one room for you. Would never use this hotel again and would advise Hotels.com to remove it from their site."

"The hotel is older with little soundproofing. If your neighbors are noisy you will here. The 2 ladies we dealt with were very kind and helpful.. We parked right out front. I would not be going back. "
