"Staying in a newly refurbished room on the 3rd floor, everything was fresh and clean (though the pattern on the new carpet makes it look a bit threadbare in places). The fish and chips dinner was large and well cooked but the apple crumble dessert was disappointing as it was a small tart that seemed to have just been warmed up in a microwave and the ‘smudge’ of custard on the plate was barely enough to fill a teaspoon. "I was attending an event at the hotel and decided to stay overnight, rather than face a late night drive home. All the staff members I interacted with were extremely helpful, friendly and very professional. My room was on the ground floor and was superb. The bed was so comfortable. The room was large and very well decorated and very clean and tidy, I had a cooked breakfast the following morning and this was excellent."

"Stayed here twice during the course of a week. (in rooms next to each other) Its obvious work has been done and i liked the hotel and the atmosphere. The food in the bar was very noice, reasonable and good size portions. If i am ever back in the area i wouldnt think twice to stay here again."

"Wow! What a place. The pictures on the listing looked pretty incredible, and in person was even better! My family and I loved the castle. I think the location was great, in that we were able to take day trips and see a number of places on our list (Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, Blarney Stone, Cliffs of Moher, Kilkenny, Kinsale, Killarney, Dublin). "The farmhouse was immaculately clean. The views of the Galtee Mountains with the mist rising up from them were mesmerizing. The furnishings were comfortable.
