Feels Like Your Own Home in the Alps
This is a charming place, with views of the Alps that other reviewers correctly praise. We ate in every night, an easy decision with the well appointed kitchen. The cooking space is small (this is France) but we had no trouble setting a table for seven. François was attentive and everything in the chalet worked as expected. This is a clean and care free place to stay, without the flash and pretensions you can easily find elsewhere in Courchevel 1850. We were three senior guys, here to ski. It is most convenient to rent skis at Jean Blanc, a ten minute walk, leaving your boots there each day. The walk back up to the chalet may tax some visitors, but, then, why come to the Alps?

New year ski trip
The chalet is fantastic. Easy access to the pistes - around 2 mins walk from the chalet. And an easy walk in to the centre of 1850. Loads of space, comfortable and clean. Francois was easy to speak with, answered all of our questions and was very helpful. Highly recommend!

Perfect ski location
Location was excellent! A couple of minutes walk to the slope, and easy walk to main ski area with restaurants etc. Views from the location were lovely. Beds very comfortable. Well equipped. We turned radiators off as we were plenty warm enough without them on, but I think this caused the owner a few problems with heating control!

Lovely apartment in a great location
Francois' flat was a perfect home away from home. It was very well equipped and we much appreciated the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to give us all some space and make getting to the slopes more efficient in the morning. The views were wonderful and it was perfectly positioned within easy walking distance of 2 pistes and the village.

Great chalet in a great location
This is a lovely chalet with 3 good sized bedrooms and a nice lounge / dining room. It is light and warm and well equipped. The kitchen is tiny and has only one power socket and it would be helpful to have some shop knives. It is only a few minutes walk to the slopes - so a great location. Highly recommended.

Close to slopes , clean and homely with everything you need
We had a fantastic week, we were 6 adults and a baby of 22 months,. This Chalet was great all round, great views, easy access to town, only a 5 minute walk and fantastic views of the valley. Highly recommended for family or group but I would strongly recommend stopping in Moutiers at the base of the mountain to do the shop for the week. Supermarket in 1850 is very expensive !! We have been going to Chourchevel for 16 years and would go back again to this chalet. The owner, Francios was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions . Fab Holiday, fab Chalet and of course great skiing .

Excellent value for money.
The Chalet is ideally placed not far from main part of 1850, pistes close by for getting access to the main lifts to skiing the full area. The Chalet had everything required for our stay, we were five adults and plenty of room. We would visit this Chalet again and plan to. Griffiths Family Manchester.

Fantastic chalet
Le coq noir was a fantastic chalet located in conveniently for the slopes and also the hub at 1850. The chalet is classical in style. It had everything you could need appliances, utensils and a well stocked games cupboard. The views were amazing from the rear. We had a great time and would absolutely stay here again. Many thanks to Mr Eurin for providing this property.

Great stay at a unique location in Courchevel 1850
The house is perfectly located within walking distance of slopes, restaurants, bars and shops. The neighbourhood is lively but not too busy. The house comes with everything you need and the views from the livingroom into the valley are unique.

Heel gezellig en compleet appartement op geweldige locatie
Les Coqs Noirs is een zeer goed geoutilleerd appartement, waar werkelijk alles te vinden is. De locatie is geweldig, op loopafstand van de pistes in het schitterende skigebied Les Trois Vallées. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en antwoordt heel snel op vragen. Een absolute aanrader om naar toe te gaan!

Ravis de notre sejour
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la résidence "les coqs noirs". L'appartement est très agréable, bien entretenu. Il dispose de tout ce qu'un vacancier peut avoir besoin lors d'un séjour aux sports d'hiver. En outre nous avons eu de très bons rapports avec le propriétaire. Une très bonne expérience.

Les +: jolie location indépendante fonctionnelle et bien équipée avec une belle vue dégagée. Les -: à peine loin du village ESF enfants en portant des skis et trimballant des enfants. Pas de place pour garer donc parking payant assez cher mais qui n’est qu’à à 5 minutes a pieds. Lits jumeaux qu’on ne peut pas transformer en véritable grand lit dans une des chambres (ecart entre les lits)

SUPER!!!
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Spacieux, confortable, très bien équipé et très bien situé au niveau des pistes. La seule petite remarque que je pourrais donné c’est qu’il faisait chaud dans l’appartement malgré que l’on baisse le thermostat (peut-être celui ci ne fonctionnait pas).
