"Had a wonderful, peaceful vacation right on the waterfront. The location was perfect, offering great views and direct access to the water. We had a lot of fun crabbing and fishing off the dock. Having access to kayaks and canoes was a fantastic bonus that made our stay even more enjoyable. The owner, Randy, was very helpful and always available to answer our questions. Overall, it was a great experience, and we truly enjoyed it."

"We loved our stay at this VBRO. We stayed during the Labor Day Weekend. The house was super clean and the grounds were well maintained. The cottage is not far from Chincoteague (45 min) so we stopped on our way down and back home - visit Captain Barry. "Very nice property, we made good use of the dock and were able to launch my 18.5 ft boat from the concrete ramp. Fishing, crabbing, boating were good (though crabs a bit on small side) the cottage was clean, well organized and neat. Everything was really nice and Genevieve was extremely responsive and pleasant to deal with."

"This property has a lot to enjoy. We liked the game room, dock for fishing and the kayaks. We played a lot of cornhole. We also liked the many outdoor seating areas--there was always somewhere comfortable to sit at any time of day. The site is very private and is somewhat remote from amenties. So it made for a more intimate family reunion without a lot of offsite trips. The site manager was extremely helpful and attentive and the checkin-checkout processes were super smooth."

She gives you your privacy and yet the second you start thinking hmm I wonder if or I wish I could/have/need she is right there to help and accommodate. It was the perfect quiet get away for my husband and I and even our dog. I know our dog would even give her and the property a 20 out of ten!!!! "

The rooms are a bit dated, and it is very evident the water in the area is iron heavy, you can smell, taste and see it in the bathrooms. Not the hotels fault of course, but it's a consideration when staying in the area. Complimentary breakfast was good, very similar to most hotels with this perk, but everything was hot, tasted good and the staff were very friendly. Would absolutely stay here again in the future "
