"As two women staying here by ourselves, this place made us uncomfortable. Wires were cut leading up to the hut (they said it’s been like that for 6 years but how would we know that?) and the lock was broken/tampered with so that it wouldn’t lock at all. Didn’t feel as it was worth it to call someone out as we were in the middle of nowhere and still felt unsafe on the property so we left to find a hotel."

"Our stay at this property was wonderful. The apartment was very cute and comfortable. It was a great place to spend time with family and friends. The beds were very comfortable with excellent bedding. The bathroom was large and very modern. The location allowed easy access to local attractions. After we arrived, our hosts Johann and Sandy were easy to communicate with and they were very prompt to look after our needs. They made us feel very much at home. Our trip did have just a couple hiccups...

"We stayed in the cottage during the third weekend of October, yet the foliage was still beautiful. We were located just a few minutes away from Crystal Lake State Park, Lake Willoughby, and wonderful local restaurants like Roberto's Pizza and Barton Baking. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including heating and a nice fireplace. Highly recommend!"

"My wife and I enjoyed seven nights at this property. We used it as a 'hub' to 'spoke' out to Lake Willoughby, Jay Peak, Burlington, Stowe, and Waterbury. Pre-arrival coordination was excellent. The property is true to photos and description - a one-bedroom apartment above a garage. We used the hot tub twice. We didn't use the gas grill located adjacent to the hot tub. Roku TV was more than adequate for the small amount of time spent at the property. The kitchen had ample dishes/pans/etc...

"Property uses an incinerator toilet which has a long cycle, especially. if you use it before you go to bed. It vibrates and if you are a light sleeper this will impact your stay. Make sure to purchase a gallon of water before you come. Water is not potable and purchasing water for a dollar a drinking bottle will be expensive."

"The suite was just what we needed; quiet, comfortable and cozy. It has all the amenities of home, so we felt very much at home. Gwen and Larry were consistently responsive and warmly attentive. "The property is as listed. It's new so is very clean and has pretty much all the basics you need. It is remote, almost 3 miles of dirt road, no internet though does have WIFI. There are restaurants 9 miles away in Morrisville with surprisingly good food, ( the duck at Siam Valley Thai was exceptional), as well as groceries, hardware, etc. A good place to escape from our daily craziness."
