The folks in the nearest town of Carnwath were very pleasant and welcoming. The only issue we had was initially finding the right drive entrance, but that was more due to it already getting dark when we arrived. We highly recommend this place. "

"Blackaddie is very comfortable country hotel. We stayed two nights in pheasant, and found the accommodation to be quite a very high standard. The bed was very large and comfortable but slightly firm. There is a lovely view over the garden towards the river. We ate in the hotel both evenings and couldn’t understand why it wasn’t busier as both meals were delicious. "
