Crawfordville Town Center convenience at the Courtyard’s Oyster Cottage

Sister to the Courtyard’s Pelican Cottage (vrbo #2683629), the Oyster Cottage is awaiting your arrival. Comfortable, cozy, convenient, and wheelchair accessible. Located Across the street from Wakulla County Courthouse, and across the lawn from the Courtyard’s Pelican Cottage, and neighbor to Southern Oaks Realty just off of Crawdordville Hwy. This early 1900’s cottage is a unique piece of history with modern comforts. Close to everything in and around Crawdordville. We love pets, but we're not currently accepting pets at this time.
St. Marks, Shell Point, and Panacea are just south, and St George/Apalachicola are one hour west. Tallahassee is 30 minutes north. Zap Zap Thai Kitchen, Taste of Mexico, and Subway are across the street, and Myra Jean's, Lex & Roll, and the Breakfast Station are just a short drive. If you love coffee like we do, try Atlas, Brewed by the Dude, or Wild Ox. They each are excellent in unique ways and serve locally roasted coffee. Please enjoy seasonal Meyer lemons, kumquats, blueberries, crab apples, pears, persimmons, & figs from the orchard. Paddle the spring fed Wakulla River from TNT canoe rental 15 minutes southeast or visit Wakulla Springs State park for a step back in time. St. Marks Wildlife Refuge and Lighthouse are also close by and a popular saltwater fishing spot. Cool off swimming in beautiful clear Emerald Sink off Lighthouse Road.

Beautiful Historical Building
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was interesting to learn a little history about the cottage. It was right across from the beautiful Wakula Courthouse which was so pretty. The only negative for us...and the owners can't help this...but the traffic off High Dr. was extremely busy, and again, the owners can't help this but some of the vehicles were crazy loud, and we didn't sleep well at all the first night. The second night wasn't as bad but we just kinda laughed it off as part of the experience. The host was wonderful, and our stay was nice.

Perfect night Stay Oyster Cottage
From the time you walk through the door, you felt like you were at home. The place was fully updated with all the upgraded amenities. Bedrooms were big and the the beds were comfy. Bathroom was spacious and the the shower was outstanding. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and if we are ever back in this area we will be staying here!!!!!

This was one of the best we have stayed at. It was clean, roomy, cozy, and very comfortable. The shower was huge along with the bathroom! Plenty of games to entertain. Beds were comfortable and inviting. Very comfortable couch and chair. Huge TV. Beautifully decorated. Nice to sit outside. We will definitely be going back!

Centrally located for nature submersion opportunities
This cottage has been very tastefully restored and updated. It was centrally located for our sojourns to Tallahassee, the St. Mark's Refuge, St. George Island, and several State Parks. Although we ate at "home" there are several restaurants close by. Also, Winn Dixie is really close for groceries. The traffic was a bit noisy for us since we don't hear much at home.

Perfect cozy little cottage.
My family and I stayed at the Oyster Cottage for my son’s graduation from FSU. The hosts were very responsive to all of my questions and replied right away. The cottage was immaculate! The hosts even stocked the full size fridge with refreshments for us to enjoy upon arrival. Coffee was provided as well, which was thoughtful and very much appreciated! Home away from home
We found this treasure and are so happy we did. Me and my parents came to Crawfordville to visit friends for a couple of days and Oyster Cottage was perfect! Cozy inviting and so clean. We had everything we needed and then some. The location was perfect for us and the hosts were amazing. The restaurants we tried that they recommended were yummy. Will definitely stay again.

Nice newly renovated ample space, very comfortable. Only downside was the location next to a main road had emergency vehicles go by every night. Road no more than 75 feet from cottage.

FSU parents weekend stay
Hosts were very communicative prior to check in, making sure we had all info we needed prior to check in. Stayed here during FSU parents weekend (most places in Tally were rented or overpriced). Only a 30 minute drive from FSU campus. Super clean, well appointed property, which was exactly as pictured and advertised. We watched some college football on the big TV, which had a nice picture. I’d recommend this place to friends and would stay here again.

Wonderful Oyster Cottage
What a beautiful place! I loved the history of the Oyster Cottage. What a fabulous job Mark and Rena did restoring the home. The location of the Oyster Cottage was a perfect launching point for all the areas of the Forgotten Coast that I wanted to explore. Unfortunately my much anticipated vacation was cut short by Hurricane Idalia. Kevin was gracious to offer to extend my stay if I felt safe hunkering down. I plan on revisiting and would love to stay at the Oyster Cottage to resume my explorations of the Forgotten Coast (love this area). The Oyster Cottage has been one of my favorite VRBO rentals! First Guests in this Delightful Cottage
After following Kevin and Rena’s progress on the Oyster Cottage from across the yard at the Pelican Cottage, we were honored to be the FIRST guests here! The cottages have their own unique charm, and we were so fortunate to enjoy both cottages while transitioning from Boone, NC to Crawfordville. We will certainly highly recommend each cottage to visiting friends and relatives. Kevin and Rena are over-the-top hosts who truly want your stay to be perfect. Sehr schönes cottage
Das Cottage war sehr sauber und sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber Kevin war sehr gut. Wir haben sehr viele tolle Tipps erhalten. Das Cottage lag sehr günstig, um zum wakulla spring national Park und nach Tallahassee zu fahren. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Cottage nur weiterempfehlen.
