"What a beautiful property! As soon as we arrived, we were excited from opening the front door. A very spacious area for 2 families to spend some time away from the norm! Everything we needed was already catered for. From blankets on the sofa and dog bowls to a full kitchen of utensils. Very comfortable beds and well presented. The layout allowed us to all be in one house but have our own down time if needed. The hot tub was amazing and well used by all. Grateful for the daily pH level checks...

"A very enjoyable stay in the pretty and quiet village of Badby. The house was just as described and perfect for our needs. Good little playground and cafe and pub a short walk away. In a perfect world the curtains in the bedrooms would have blackout lining (for the summer sunrises) and the dishwasher would be replaced as the racks are shedding rust, but otherwise a fantastic stay."

"We stayed over the Christmas period with all of the family and the house was just perfect. Sarah and Kim were there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The house was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed, a formal room where we could all be together and also lots of cosy snugs. The grounds were also well kept and we enjoyed walking around the garden. Would highly recommend the house to anybody wishing to find somewhere...

"The good: The location is excellent. The host was wonderfully kind and accommodating. The farm setting is beautiful with sheep, horses, birds and dogs. There is lots of storage in the property. The bed was very comfortable. The price is also quite fair. The bad: No central air and there is heat that must be lit with a fire starter. We needed both heating and cooling during our stay. The fridge is small and there is no freezer. The cooker must also be lit with a fire starter (we didn’t try it)....

"Property is very grand and well maintained. There is some work going on in the grounds at the moment but that doesn't detract from the way it looks or is presented. Rooms in the paddock annex are nice but wifi was lacking which wasn't ideal as we were there for work purposes. "Classy looking hotel. It was perfect for driving experience the next day. We loved the views from the bar/restaurant across the track. The room was well appointed with a great king size bed. It would have been nice to have more on the hospitality tray, maybe biscuits & hot chocolate and also water in the fridge which I thought Hilton hotels always offer? The car parking is obviously an issue but there were directions & explanations so it didn’t bother us and we were grateful to be able to leave...

"Hotel is lovely, but the room (mainly bathroom) was old and tired. I landed up in the disabled room which all the rail, shower seat etc were all rusty and could have done with replacing. Otherwise lovely hotel, pub and restaurant. Will stay there again "
