"This hotel was a great stopover for us. I can see why people would book a holiday here as well. Not far to drive to beach with free parking and a lovely pool with bar. Easy holiday location. Happy to see the recovery too from the storm— resilience and community! "

"Stayed here for two nights while in town for the Medieval Fair, and have no complaints. The rooms were spacious and modern with extra tall ceilings, the bathroom was spacious, and it had all the basic room ammenities i would expect. Check in was simple and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was a bit plain, but it did the job."

"I really like the atmosphere and how we were in our own paradise with our surroundings. It was quiet and rarely saw other people there. You walked outside of the resort and wanted to go back into your surroundings. Definitely hope to return next year to the Siesta Key Palms Resort! Loved it! Dawn "

"We had a great experience staying at the Embassy Suites Downtown Sarasota! The included breakfast and evening reception were awesome. The staff was pleasant and accommodating and the hotel was clean. Self parking worked out great, and the location was very convenient for walking into downtown where there’s a plethora of outstanding restaurants. Our spacious corner suite had gorgeous views of the bay and had plenty of storage space. There’s a $25 destination fee that is charged every day, but it is credited back if used for food or beverage in the restaurant. We didn’t have any trouble spending it! Here’s a tip: If you’re unable to spend $25 during the day, you can come back to the hotel after dinner out and have an after dinner drink. Only a few negatives for us: the elevators are very slow and the area around the bar was cold~ air conditioning was constantly blowing cold air. Ladies.. just be prepared carry a sweater or scarf with you when in that area. The lighting is not great in the living area or bathroom. But they do have a lighted mirror which helped immensely for putting on makeup! The area over the sink had no lighting. Minor, but should be noted. Not deducting a star because we received good value overall. We will stay again! "
