"The hotel location is very convenient. From Varenna train station, it’s about 1 block. Across the street from the Ferry Terminal and the city center is about 5 minute walk from the Ferry terminal. The hotel is not fancy but very comfortable and super clean. The included breakfast was very good. The breakfast and checkin was at the sister hotel about 5 minute walk. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Our room even had a partial lake view. "

"Overall the hotel is a good choice. It’s very well located and has reasonable prices for the area. Breakfast was only just passable. I had a single room which was quite well set up. The mattress, however, urgently needs replacing as it has a large hollow at hip level from overuse. The bathroom was small but functional. Be aware, though, that the shower is very small and if you are larger than average you probably won’t have a particularly enjoyable shower. "
