Nice Getaway
The property is located in a nice area, you do not have the traffic of a gated community. Very peaceful area. There is wear and tear on the property. The front screen door the latch came out of the wall. The handles on the doors out to the porches fell off and we had to fix. The closet doors in the master were not on the tracks. The one toilet seat was not securely on. We went to use the propane and both tanks were empty so we had to purchase a refill. Garbage bags were left outside by the shed. We contacted the property manager and they did respond immediately and stated they would correct once we departed. As for the garbage left outside, my concern was animals getting into it, which they did so the smell for the time we were there was not pleasant. The house itself is beautiful just needs some TLC. Upgraded pots and pans and some extra serving bowls would be nice. A dustpan to go along with the broom would be beneficial. Both TVs still had previous guests logged into their streaming accounts so make sure if you put your information in, you delete it prior to your departure. It was an unfortunate week for us, we had rain the 3 of the 4 days we rented. We were able to use the pool on our last day but the water was so cold from all the rain, we didn't stay in very long. Overall, it is a really nice place to stay and we would consider going back. The price was a little pricey but we paid to have a pool attached to the cabin.

Pool and jacuuzi not ready upon arrival, dusty and busted house
Location is great. Bedrooms and bathrooms.were nice and clean. When the pool and jacuzzi were finally properly cleaned, shocked, and filled they were amazing. The kitchen and living room areas were not dirty but grimy. The kitchen hadnt been truly cleaned in a while. Cabinets were dusty and gritty inside. The kitchen AC is so old and greasy and doesn't cool the space well. The chairs for the island arent the right size and some chairs are broken. The manager is the owner and she kept giving us excuses for how things were. We couldnt use the jacuzzi for 2 days waiting for it to be filled, cleaned, and heated up. The pool I told the manager was a little cloudy on the first day. She said it was because it was heated. It was never heated. By the third day it was bad and she finally came out and it was a filter and ALGAE issue, there were tadpoles in there. We had to wait until the next day to use it. Door knobs fall off and so do the window ones. The old bedroom.ac knon falls off too. Not all windows or deck doors have screens so they cant be opened. The landscaping doesnt exist. The grill area was overgrown with weeds. I'd go back if these details were addressed. It's rare to find a pool and jacuzzi in the poconos

Friend and I and my dog had a relaxing stay. Really enjoyed nearby trails/hikes and wineries! A few minor issues at house but property manager was responsive and helpful.
