"Thoughtfully appointed historical period home. Amazing fireplace which was all set for easy use. Home it situated within steps of an abundance of dining and shopping choices. Best of all there is a dedicated parking spot."

"We had a great time at the lodge, it was spacious, well presented and in a nice wuiet location. All amenities were as listed and we didn't find anything wanting. The children found lots to do at the hoburne site and we could relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, a wonderful base ro explore the area. "

"The location of the property was perfect to visit other areas of the Cotswolds. The property was quiet and had everything you needed to make it feel like home. The beds were so comfortable and have never slept so well. It was peaceful and relaxing and was lovely to hear the church bells even through the night. The location was ideal to explore and walk around the village and countryside. Would stay here again and highly recommend."

The living area was a great space for relaxing in the evening as we put our 2 year old to sleep in the bedroom. "The Railway View carriage was just delightful! It is small but perfectly set up. Not much storage for clothing but we managed. Perhaps a few more hooks to hang things would be useful. I especially appreciated the tea and coffee necessities after our long drive. We didn't want to leave!!"

Tre did advise that the fridge freezer was a little noisy and suggested it be turned off at night which we did however the water recycling system was a little noisy too but other than that, an excellent stay. "Very friendly efficient staff. A HUGE clean airy room with bright big window . The window had black out curtains so nice and dark at night . All lovely and clean with fast hot running water for bath and shower . Unfortunately Brasserie restaurant closed in evenings so went to the Boat House which was clean . Good food and efficient staff. Hot stone massage was really good. It could do with a few more loungers in by the swimming pool . Excellent stay . I would highly recommend."

"Hotel was easy to find, the staff were very friendly. My room was clean and tidy, and they provided shower gel, shampoo and hand-wash. Also in the room were tea making facilities, a hairdryer and iron. The only downside is that breakfast was busy on Sunday morning and I had to ask for the milk urn to be topped up. However, it was a lovely weekend and I'd stay there again. "

"Stayed here for just the one night but would have been happy to stay more. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed this before the under 5 minute drive into Cirencester where there is a nice village style high street with an array of eateries plus shops. Room was comfortable and quite spacious, shower room had a double walk in shower, heating was very toastie and we woke up too hot; could have and should have turned the radiators down but was nice when we first came in from the cold. Nice in room toiletries and tea/coffee facilities. Would recommend for a stay and we’ll be back if over that way again to try the spa "
