"Staff were excellent. All staff were eager to please and were professional throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the food slightly let us down. My wife's main course kn our first evening was overly salted so she had to leave it. I tried it and also found it salty. First day breakfast was good but 2nd day breakfast was warm but not hot. Other than these minor points, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. "

It was more than adequate in size, offering plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind without feeling crowded. The amenities were fantastic – from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable living spaces, every detail was thoughtfully provided to ensure a comfortable stay.What truly made this location special was its proximity to the shore. Waking up to the sound of waves and stepping outside to take in the breathtaking coastal views was an absolute treat. Even during the stormy weather, the charm of Annagary and its rugged beauty shone through.This staycation was a perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Whether it was cozying up indoors with the family or braving the elements to explore the surrounding area, we felt completely at home. Annagary is a gem, and we can’t wait to return – hopefully next time with clearer skies!Jim (The Host), although never met in person was very quick and clear with communication and allowed us a couple extra hours to check out than listed which we really appreciated. "Very warm and friendly welcome. Check in was very easy. Room was very clean, comfortable, and warm. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was very, very good - highly recommend their fish dishes. This is a gem of a hotel and we will definitely stay here again. Very convenient to Donegal airport (Carrickfinn). "Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom."
