"We stayed just one night having previously been here for a lovely meal. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, the room was excellent and very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. I am sure we’ll be back again."

"Wow !!!food mas amazing very big portions our gratitude to the cook and staff service from the staff top points praise them breakfast was truly great and the stay was great one thing to say would be the room we where in needed the cobwebs hoovered away there where a few it was very spacious and a rare treat was the shower we did stay 2 days we could come and go as we pleased we did book the restaurant.our bed and breakfast was value for money will revisit again . "Bartles Lodge is a gem of a hotel. It’s situated in a very peaceful and serene village, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. "Spotless.ly clean & lovely interior design. En suite very good & had a lovely slipper bath. Breakfast was exceptional with lots of choice to include pancakes & omelettes as well as traditional fry up. Hosts gave great attention to detail & were very happy to give advice & information to enable us to have a really enjoyable stay. "

"Nice place .few points could do with some thought .pillows all very hard. Should have two of each to accomode different needs. For the price (£170) would have expected a decent level coffee offer and maybe a small fridge . As a frequent traveler this would be expected at this price level . Shower dispensers hadn't been filled fully . "

"Couldn't find my booking when I arrived which was a bit daunting. Then eventually they found the booking. No food was available due to electrical problems, but ok for cooked breakfast"

"Although it was a good stay and in an excellent location, the room we stayed in was very dusty and needed a good clean. Bathroom blind was very dusty, exposed wires from a towel rail. Bedroom needed dusting and windows that opened needed cleaning. Confusion over the bill when we left."

"My patner and i stayed along with our 3 children who are 12, 15 and 17. Very close to the beach and Cromer is virtually on your doorstep, the house has everything you need for a stay away from home and is very clean. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends."
