"Better than advertised."

"This is a pretty, clean, well-stocked house on the lovely Sheep's Head peninsula. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the TV has Netflix. It's only a short walk to the beach, hiking trails, two restaurants, and a general store. The general store only takes cash. We had a wonderful time walking many miles in beautiful, remote surroundings. The only caution I would give is that there is very little taxi service and only one bus, so plan to bring a car if you want...

"Nellie's farmhouse is a delightful home. Very roomy and well thought out flooplan. The farmhouse overlooks rolling fields on one side and Bantry Bay on the other. The home is outfitted with all the things anyone would need for an enjoyable stay and less than 5 minutes from the small village of Durrus. "Beautiful small stone walled cottage. It is well equipped and it is set on a site with a 5 acre garden. It is adjacent to the owners house on this site. There is a relaxing reading space on the upper floor."

"This house is so much nicer in real life! The photos don't do the main kitchen/living room/dining room area justice. And the views ... no matter what the weather ... were mesmerising. You don't go to West Cork in Ireland in January for the weather, but in the 7 days we were there we had everything from 2 days of storms, 2 days of clouds, and then topped off with 3 days of spectacular blue skies and no wind. "We had stayed at this property 12 years ago and enjoyed it immensely. So for our reunion this year in Skibbereen I was happy to be able to find this property again. It again did not disappoint! The location is spectacular. Rooms were comfortable and neatly appointed. Seamus was always available if needed and checked in on us. Fresh flowers, a bottle of wine and desserts were left for us to enjoy. The only thing I would offer is that there is no clothes dryer however there is a clothes line...
