"A few basic issues, pool water too cold, usually its warm. Bath plug wouldnt work, no hot water in bath. Breakfast pastries were stale. Restaurant food was not its usual standard... Usually a nice stay here, bit disappointing this time..."

"Start to finish a truly wonderful experience for my wife's 70th.birthday, unfortunately the breakfast was a bit of a let down ie. My wife's French toast was cold and my fried egg was frazzled, definitely the worst fried egg in Ireland. The egg makes the fry. Booked a table for 7pm Saturday evening. Arrived at 6.50 and we were told to wait outside in a side room until 7 even though the restaurant was empty at the time. Not even an offer to provide us with a drink while we waited. "Visiting family and got to see the home my grandmother grew up in! The hotel staff were warm and welcoming and our stay was comfortable. The “pool” was definitely not for relaxing. It’s an exercise club and lap swimming was intense. The sauna was awesome though! Food was excellent!"

"The staff, especially Robert were really friendly, hospitality and nothing was too much for them to do every request was replied with “no bother”. We arrived earlier than the check in time and as the room was ready they checked us in. They also allowed us an extra 30 minutes late check out. The breakfast was very delicious, the smoothie was made with banana but the chefs were happy to make one for me with bananas. Overall it’s was a good stay. The staff’s pleasantness was the best. "
