I felt uncomfortable with that at such late notice but the house we were given was much larger and grander. The location was perfect for our stay and travels. The owner was kind and helpful. "We chose this cottage in the country to experience the local towns, people, the food, & history. We rented a car & used the cottage as base. Each day we drove to a different castle or locale.Even the Cliffs of Moher was a day trip. Roscrea village was close for groceries. Denise & Joe were very friendly, helpful, kind, & wonderful hosts. "The Meadow View Farmhouse was a dream come true. Eamonn was an awesome host. He met us at the house with a wealth of information about the area and even booked us a visit to a local castle viewing. "I was attending an event at the hotel and decided to stay overnight, rather than face a late night drive home. I think the location was great, in that we were able to take day trips and see a number of places on our list (Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, Blarney Stone, Cliffs of Moher, Kilkenny, Kinsale, Killarney, Dublin).
