Stay in an island community surrounded by the Saint Martin's Marsh Aquatic Preserve, a mosaic of salt marshes and hammocks, fringed by mangroves. See the native flora and fauna of old Florida right from your back porch. Our waterway opens to Dixie Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, just a few minutes away. This is a pristine ecological system that offers a unique expierience. Bring your boat to tie up to our private dock, or just launch the provided kayaks. Catch fish in your backyard, or enjoy a bike ride around the neighborhood. Lounge in a hammock, or Netflix and chill. Enjoy delicious local restaurants that feature the freshest seafood, or catch and grill your own fish or scallops during scalloping season. There are nearby golf courses, biking and hiking trails, Forth Island Beach, waterfront restaurants, The Great Florida Birding Trail and Three Sisters' Springs State Park (winter home to the manatees).

Family Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. House was perfect for our stay, we brought our own boat, was able to keep behind house, house was fully equipped. I would recommend- beautiful view from back porch. Quiet neighborhood.

Every bed & bath were used & disheveled though when the cleaning gal did arrive & apologize it seemed a genuine misunderstanding . Still er we’re out a few hours shine all was settled

Property is awesome! If you’re looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy FL this is it! Clean, neat, well put together, and very comfortable. Owner is fantastic with communication and very helpful. Four of us used the Estuary House as a hub while visiting our parents nearby. One of us is a bird nerd who loved birdwatching from the back deck. Crystal River is the place to go for manatee viewing. We also took a day trip to Sarasota for strolling along its white sandy beaches. We found the house clean, quiet and relaxing. Host responded quickly to all inquiries.

Great for Family Vacation
This vacation home is very nice, clean, well appointed as advertised. Owner communication was excellent. It was perfect reunion spot for our multi-state family. Highly recommend! Plenty of great things to do in Crystal River too. Hope to stay there again in the future.

Family time
We had a great time with family. We spent most of our time going to the beach and the various springs. We saw many manatees, which was a real thrill. Beautiful home. I watched the sunrise from the deck every morning. Such a peaceful way to start the day.

Beautiful home with a view
The house itself was in immaculate condition. I loved that three of the bedrooms had queen beds. It felt very welcoming and comfortable. The views from the back decks were simply beautiful. Also, very close to everything in Crystal River. I highly recommend this property.

AMAZING HOST!!!!
The owners and the house were amazing! I never ever leave reviews but I am going to this time. From start to finish it was such a smooth process. Jason and Elizabeth have their house stocked with everything you can need. They left us a lovely bottle of wine which we enjoyed watching the sunset on the enclosed front porch. The kids loved how many games there were for them to play and played most of them. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Long Weekend
House was absolutely amazing with incredible unobstructed views. Highly recommend, it was perfect for our group of seven ranging from 12 to 50ish. Kayak's were a hit for my collage age daughter and her friends. Close to everything in Crystal River but very quite and relaxing!

Short stay in paradise
This house is beautiful, clean, very well stocked with everything a family needs for a wkend get away. The back yard is pure true Fl paradise ( beautiful birds, dolphins, alligators, manatees , fishing and AMAZING sunrises). We docked our 24 ft boat behind the house with no problem. Hosts were great with check in and check out . Highly recommend!

Definitely an Estuary Oasis!
I've stayed at quite a few VRBOs in the past and this was the best experience to date. The home is gorgeous and immaculate. Almost all the rooms have a stunning view of the water. The home feels spacious and lacking of no amenity. There were outdoor equipment and games for use. There were even snacks and goodies set out for us when we arrived. The home owners were incredibly responsive, helpful, warm and kind. It was wonderful experience in a lovely home with awesome owners!

Seaside sanctuary
We brought our children here to relax and to see the manatees in the nearby springs. We were not disappointed! This property is beautiful! Every room is light and airy with breathtaking views of the estuary. We took full advantage of the well-stocked kitchen, fought over whose turn it was to use the rainfall shower, paddled kayaks to explore the area, identified birds of all kinds, and ended each day with a board game from the provided collection. The owners made us feel very welcome with personalized touches and quick responses to questions. We would love to stay here again!

Ac does not work well. A little over priced. Nice home
The owners were nice but a little overbearing about thing's. The ac does not work well at all it's old so would bring fans or a floor unit. View is very nice but not very accommodating for boats larger than 20' . The inside is nice but just middle of the road. Owners were very accommodating in a lot of ways.

My Birthday weekend experience
The home was just as described. Very beautiful and in the area that we wanted to stay. Once checked in I messaged the owner to let him know how beautiful the home was and that we would like to have access to the bottom floor with our guest that were from the area but wanted to be with us for my Birthday. He said there would be an extra charge for over the 6 registered guest in which I agreed was ok. He said it would be more per guest. I agreed to pay him in person on what we hoped we be our sunset cruise with him on Sunday after checkout. Now here’s where it gets ugly. We were out on a rented boat in Saturday trying to enjoy our day and in that area cell phone reception is not good at all if not on WiFi. Apparently he tried reaching out without our knowing. Once back to the house we were alerted of a voicemail and it wasn’t a nice one! He said he had been watching us on the ring door bell and because we had extra guests over we needed to evacuate the home immediately or he was going to call the cops. Now I have anxiety without anything additional being added to my plate and here we are over 3.5 hours from home about to dress for dinner reservations with our family for my birthday and we’re being threatened to have the cops called on us. My husband called and explained there was no ill intent and the owner went on about prior experiences of people trashing his home. Now he’s in the business of renting his home isn’t that a risk you take? Granted we are extremely clean, honest, hardworking and respectful people and would never disrespect another’s property but honestly this just ruined my entire Birthday weekend. It was very embarrassing in front of family I have been able to visit with in years. I felt as if we were being “watched” the entire time as he kept describing his video footage. I’m not sure what else to say other than this would never be an experience I would want to provide for someone who had just messaged thanking you for the beautiful stay and even requesting renting again in the coming months. To be clear my husband did send him an extra money through Facebook messenger for the extra guest to be able to go to dinner and enjoy our family but it was already a ruined experience at that point. I did take pictures of how we left the home as we would not want to be accused of partying or damaging someone’s home but felt this was necessary after the threats we received.

Family Gathering
We had a lovely time and were surprised at how nice the property was, considering Hurricane Helene decimated many homes in the neighborhood. The welcome St. Sebastian Rose and Sherry were a nice touch.There were a few things that needed attention: the railing on the front and back stairs had parts that were not fully connected and separated when in use. Also, the back screen doors had screens that separated from frame. After notifying host, the repairs were completed in 3 days. A few days in, an alarm went off and it was not the fire alarm, after my husband talked to the Host, it was determined to be the CO. The kitchen had only 3 coffee mugs for 5 adults (the cabinet in laundry had more, but it was marked as “owner’s”, and we did not use them). There was no blender, egg beater, nor hand mixer. There were only 3 rolls of toilet paper for 5 adults for 5 days, no dryer sheets and no towel rods or hooks in primary en suite bath.
