The staff was nice. This area didn’t really have walking distance restaurants like the other side of I-drive. This hotel also has an old feel to it. It definitely needs a face lift. Over all 6/10

The area was clean and convenient to the event we were in town for. The issue was that there was no way to control the A/C for the room. We were told that the controls were in the next room and that they couldn't bother the people staying there. Our room was so hot that we had to sleep with the balcony doors open and listen to the traffic all night. We told the front desk of the issue and they sent someone who basically said that there was nothing he could do. The second day it was corrected for a part of the day, but it went back to 'Heat' mode and the room became too hot again. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that there was no control in the room.

"We enjoyed our 1-night stay at The Plantation Resort. Staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was relaxing and the bar Manager, Shelly, poured delicious margaritas! Shelly was super sweet. We loved swimming with the manatees in Crystal River and we hope the staff is safe from the recent hurricane. ..."
