"I had to go to the Waverley Guest a house to collect the key. On arriving I was passed by an inebriated lady cursing and swearing and carrying a Perspex advert holder. As I climbed the stairs it whizzed passed my head and smashed on the stairs as she had thrown in in her rage. The chap at the desk acted like nothing had happened and gave me my key. I went to the ‘holiday apartments’ and found room 18 and it was a disgrace. It stank of cigarettes and sweat. The walls and bed clothes were shabby....

"My only regret is that I stayed on property for less than 12 hours due to a long delay at Heathrow. It was the first stay of my trip to Scotland and set the tone beautifully. The room was lovely, nicely decorated and cozy. Great bathroom too. I arrived very late, around midnight, and the porter was kind and informative and the gentleman that met me at my building helped carry in my luggage and made sure I was able to get to my room. "We had an amazing time in Inverness, thanks to the lovely team at Best Western. Ale at the front desk was so friendly and kind. She was able to book us into a last-minute room after our first accommodations at a different hotel fell through. The rooms were lovely, and provided great views of the river. The daily breakfast was a great add-on and had a beautiful view from the restaurant. We will gladly be back again! "
