"Directions in binder where private Sandy Beach is located...( Path by railroad tiles ...just passed the crossing Oil all door hinges ..that way won't wake up others that are still sleeping...since no AC in bedrooms have to leave doors open to be comfortable in the bedrooms. Remote died and no AAA batteries, so went and bought some at DG store New grill ..that one worked but not hot only front part had flames...no way to cook food for 5 people. Door code only work to get in...so couldn't lock...

"The Ham Fam Lakehouse was lovely, well appointed, comfortable, and the lake view was fabulous! We enjoyed the gas fireplace on chill mornings, and the sunset view in the evenings. The lake was easily accessible and we enjoyed walking the driftwood strewn beach. We had a few minor concerns the first days, but they were immediately addressed and remedied by the management team. When we pulled up it’s a barn attached to a house and you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the “apartment” it’s a barn so lots of black flies upstairs so we didn’t use the beds. "I drove up to the Burlington area (from Frederick MD) for a 3-day reunion of a group of us who had served as Peace Corps Volunteers or staff 30 years ago in Morocco from 1991-1993. "Great hotel, just renovated with nice rooms and common areas. Perfect location to be able to walk anywhere downtown Burlington and be close to the lake. Staff very friendly and accommodating. "The staff is very friendly and the property is very clean. The sheets are real cotton and the beds are not so high. It’s comfortable to sit on the bed. There are windows that can be opened to let in fresh air! I love that! A litte issue is that there isn’t enough room to put two toiletterie bags on top of the bathroom counter. The breakfast assortment is rather limited these are the negative parts. But I was informed that soon they will renovate the entire hotel. "
