"Lovely apartment with all the facilities, and a very comfy bed. The communication was excellent and my pet deposit was refunded really quickly too, could not fault the communication or the instructions for entry. It is also located close to a nice little park with a Tesco just around the corner. My only complaint was that the shower head was mouldy, and when I changed the pressure a fair bit of mould came out (luckily not onto me!), the rest of the apartment was good but this let it down."

"Beautiful location with plenty to do."

"Great location to explore the Peaks and views from the village are breathtaking. Three local pubs but didn’t serve the food and unfortunately the fish and chip shot is closed until early January so we had to buy some food from the CooP. Parking is tricky unless you have a really small car but we’ve managed to park not far from the property and we could walk to places locally. The cottage has all you’d need for a few days stay and any questions we’ve had were quickly responded to by the owner...

"Wonderful stone converted coach house, very cosy, helpful owner, lots of bits and bobs in the cupboards, everything thought of, good sized rooms too… great facilities and a huge amount of logs and kindling supplied for the wood burner. Heating system worked brilliantly when we needed it as we were snowed in last two days. The perfect place to walk from direct, We found wonderful walks from our doorstep. "Georgian grand hotel. Hotel has done well to preserve the grand features. This is one for those who like character to a building. Staff were excellent. Service was fast and efficient. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit in with loads of old style leather oxblood sofas and chairs throughout- so comfortable after dinner drinking. Food was lovely. Only requests would be for fresh juices at breakfast rather than concentrate/ squash and a scrambled egg option. Very nice stay - will return....

Perfect getaway for our Anniversary

"We absolutely love this hotel. We came last year for our mini moon so obviously wanted to return for our 1st anniversary. The facilities are excellent and we made lots of use in the gym and spa areas each day. Staff, food and cleanliness is 5 stars and really couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay. Look forward to returning next year."
