The surroundings of La Hoube offer many possibilities. You can go swimming or golfing at just 20 km. In Haegen (19 km), Wangenbourg-Eigenthal (12 km) and Nideck (21 km) you can visit impressive castle ruins. The latter town also has beautiful waterfalls. Also visit also the famous ship lift Plan Incliné near St. Louis-Arzviller (16 km). The kids will be happy with a day trip to the animal park of Rhodes (49 km). A day trip to Strasbourg (46 km) is also highly recommended.

Amazing stay
The house was very clean and is very well furnished (all kitchen equipment, dishwasher, DVD player, iron, reclining chairs, large outdoor table etc..) The view is wonderful and the village very quiet. We really had a great and relaxing time. One downside: the page states WiFi is available but the owner confirmed there is no WiFi.
