Safe for solo female travelers

I stayed at Oasis Hotel as a solo female traveller. The hotel was comfy and safe. The staff is kind, available and helpful. I loved watching the ocean in the morning and having a walk by the beach at the sunrise. A little far from popular spots but a taxi costs less than 3 dollars, so easily manageable.

The view of the ocean was very nice, the room was very clean. They offer coffee and croissants& bread for breakfast. There were some maintenance issues, but Demba and Malick worked very hard to address everything and to make my stay as easy as possible. Some taxi drivers didn’t know where the location was, so pin down the location before you head out. The area is a short walk about half a mile from beach restaurants. Overall would recommend it

Good location on VDN and beach

Hotel located right at the beach, nice staff. Only room could use some upgrades also for tv/internet... Meanwhile nice availability for the kitchen

I was fine with the condition of the room but not the condition of the towel and sheets I was given. I ask for a replacement and the replacement was not any better.They need new sheets and towels.

The TV did not work, there were no WiFi and the toilet tank kept running non stop. The morning we were supposed to vacate the premises, they ran after us thinking that we were leaving and not paying the $7 fee, but we were just running errands at around 7 am. Horrible experience for my family. I end up leaving our vehicle outside and taking a cab to prove them that an adult was still with our luggage in the room. That’s just ridiculous. Mind you the room had been paid in full the whole time.

Super hôtel pour séjourner à Dakar et être au calme dans un endroit sur et face à la mer! Le gérant et les concierge sont très sympa et disponible. L’hotel est assez loin des attractions touristiques mais les taxis passent juste à côté et peuvent vous emmener pour peu cher.
