"The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!"

"Lovely first floor apartment with good facilities and lovely views of the surrounding countryside and sea. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the accommodation was - well fitted out also. We greatly enjoyed our stay."

"Photos certainly do not do this house justice. We were a party of 9 adults and one dog and we had so much space. We particularly loved the huge kitchen table where we spent lots of time chatting, playing games etc. Highly reccommended."

"Our stay was wonderful, easy check in and a nice location where is isn’t overcrowded. Lovely lodge and it was spotless. The hot tubs are also a nice place to be in. Will definitely be looking to stay again. "

"I wouid recommend this property but would make sure other guests jnow there is nothing within walking distance and a car is needed to get ro the nearest pub/supermarket. The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables was taped up."

"The hotel was great value for the price that we paid. The room was small, but spotlessly clean. The staff were great, really friendly and welcoming. We had the vegetarian breakfast in the morning which we thoroughly enjoyed, so much so that we returned mid afternoon to the hotel for coffee and cake which was delicious. "

Brilliant everything

"I chose here due to it being the perfect location and being the right price. I’m so pleased I did because the place and the team exceeded my expectations by a long way. Service, food, drinks all of the highest quality. Evening meal served in a really nice room, same as breakfast. The room I had was 205 and it was clean, comfy, spacious. "We had a lovely stay at Cally Palace. Very close to Gatehouse of Fleet and near lots of great walks. The reception room and grounds were lovely - the bedroom and swimming pool area were a bit tired. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and staff were great. We got a great deal so good value for money. "
