Our unit was a cute space with lots of things to do including gym, pool, game room etc. We had a good view of the city, living/dining area with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. We could walk to the convention center and other areas for food and shopping. There were many homeless people outside the building and park across the street. The building felt secure.

Couple of things - first the missing items.... a shelf or something in the shower to put my toiletries? If you are going to have low water pressure, maybe a detachable shower head would make up for that. No dresser or anything .. so maybe a fold a fold out stand for my suitcase? Maybe a welcome note when you first walk in so I can find everything easily right from the start? The building has a unique smell.. what is that?

Superficially Great Room
First the positive: We were a block away from the convention center where my daughters volleyball tournament was. The rest: The pull out bed in the couch was broken, so that means that the couch was broken. It was THE most uncomfortable thing to sit on which left the 4 of us with 2 soft chairs and 4 hard plastic kitchen chairs to sit on. By day 2 the water in the bathtub in the main bathroom would take HOURS to drain. We were lucky if it drained before someone else needed to shower. More than half of the furniture is damaged in some way. We cooked dinner our first night in the oven and had noxious fumes because whoever cleaned the stove left cleaner in it. Not only ruining our dinner and costing us additional money, but then we had to spend 2 says soaking and cleaing the oven so that we can use it. Oh yea, guess what, the windows do not open so we got to smell that our entire stay. Also, Do NOT plan on cooking. They give you a 6in skillet, a tiny pot, a medium pot, and a flat (we call it) grilled cheese pan. To make spaghetti for the 4 of us we had to make it it two waves. -No garlic bread though, we had not yet gotten the oven clean enough for that. We attempted laundry halfway through our trip. The washer worked perfectly. The dryer however, sounds as if the gates of hell are opening every five minues and letting screaming deamons through it. Went to a laundrymat to finish. Adding extra expense. If we were going back to Dallas, I would not stay here.

This was a business trip, and the Abode was not a great fit for this type of travel. The property was spacious and comfortable, but the check-in process and engagement with the property management was exceedingly tedious.

No luggage storage available on site. Beautiful building but floors creak horribly with every step and you have to be very careful not to get splinters. The worst part was hearing everything being said in the apartment next to us….all night long with my 14 year old.

Property was clean and bed was comfortable. But it was somewhat run down - missing towel rack, window shade, electrical plugs without covers, broken light switch. Water pressure was very low in shower. The neighborhood was horrible - nothing close by and lots of homeless people on the streets.

Abode give the exact instructions needed for everything. The only noise i heard was the exercise class they had every morning about 2 hours other than that peaceful.

Listing said 2 bedrooms and it was a 1 bedroom.
Avoid this listing. They require a lease agreement including a selfie with your id and screen shots of bank activity. The amount of email communication and requirements will make your head spin. There isnt anyone onsite to help you. The key codes are incorrect, you wait outside near the homeless shelter and listen to hold music or wait for an email apology saying its not their fault and they will look into it. The previous renters didn't replace the keys in the lock box outside the unit so we waited in the hallway at 11 pm freezing unable to reach anyone on the number provided. We finally received email and a phone call 45 minuts later by a supervisor with a separate code for the master lock box. The unit was filthy and needs repairs. Cleaners were unavailable due to freezing temperatures. Broken tiles leading into the bathroom that pop off as you walk in. The shower has no water pressure, tile is stained and there is standing water. There is a pvc sewage pipe over the bed with brown stains. The washer and dryer were a bonus but the dryer makes a LOUD squealing noise, it adds to the neighbors piano serenade. These walls are thin. There is a constant smell of weed as soon as you exit the elevator. Our room was accidentally canceled on there end so the called and emailed repeatedly wanting a new lease agreement and to pay for the stay again even though we haven't received a refund in the first place. The valet parking was the highlight of this stay. They were great.

The gym on the first floor was very loud. There we also a lot of people coming in and out of the building. The amount of homeless people outside on the street was also not very welcoming.

This place was above the aerobic facility so if you want to sleep do not rent this apartment. I sleep with earplugs anyhow and it woke me up at 5AM every morning. It also goes all day long. Good luck enjoying a business or fun trip. The management promised a certain refund but has not given it nor communicated since after a bit after the promises. I will NEVER use this company again. They should be mortified. This property was stupid to even purchase and will have ZERO resale value to be sold. So us lucky trusting visitors get stuck with it with no recourse. I hope no one gets taken advantaged with their time and hard earned money. It's a cute place it's a shame it's where it's located in the building and represented by such a terrible management company. Disgusting.
