It is a lovely old Italian building with lots of character. Staff are lovely and helpful. Rooms are a generous size and breakfast included was nice.
It is a long walk into Rome so be prepared to Uber or use bus/metro which are close (both where extremely unreliable). There are nice restaurants and bars about a 10 min walk away.
If you don't like noise this hotel is not for you as you can hear your neighbours and all the hallway noise. Roof top terrace is a nice touch to relax at the end of a day.

The Chatwal is very central to Times Square and other iconic buildings.
The members of staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.
