"The house was lovely. Had everything we needed as advertised. Unfortunately, the town of Damascus was devastated by a flood due to Hurricane Helene. We lost power about 9:40am on 9/27. Also, lost water around the same time. We had to evacuate around 5:30pm on 9/27. We apologize for not being able to wash the dishes or complete some of the other check out procedures due to the circumstances. We are devastated for the community of Damascus as they have suffered catastrophic damage in town. Luckily...

"It is a very convenient location. Across the street is the Grocery store with gasoline and the pizza/sandwich shop. Later, we did walk 250 yards to the brewery. Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends to be busy and noisy. And no front or back usable porch.."

"The cabins at healing springs are as the name goes, healing. 😇 cozy, quaint, Appalachian charm. The actual spring water is iron and mineral-rich. Took home a few gallons and should have stocked more. My dog loved the property as well. Don’t forget to utilize their fire pits to roast marshmallows and gaze upon the Appalachian night stars and constellations."

"The seclusion can't be beat back in the woods quiet very relaxing it was cold so we didn't experience the hiking trails and pond but they looked amazing we will be staying again "

"the cabin had everything to offer! Loved the hot tub, the wrap around porch, a cosy bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. We had trouble finding a roster for a couple of days, but then we found it on the back of the bottom cabinet. We had so much fun! Felt very safe and very comfortable. Thank you very much!"

"Absolutely thrilled with the stay and experience! Very much suggest arriving during daylight, as the trek up the driveway and remoteness of the location can be a bit overwhelming in complete darkness. Once we got our barrings in the light the next morning it was impeccable. "The motel was comfortably located right off the expressway for an overnight stay on our road trip. The person manning the front desk, I think his name was Justin, was very courteous. On entering our room we found the heater was blowing cold air (this is winter). The thermostat was non-responsive. We called the front desk and Justin promptly came up and fixed the issue and got out thermostat to work. The breakfast was decent and hot."
