We stayed here for the weekend with another couple.
The good: athough the area appears a bit sketchy, it is very quiet and it’s an easy and safe walk/bike ride into town. We enjoyed sitting on the porch or the side yard each morning, watching catbirds and a nest of phoebes on the kitchen porch. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of dishes, flatware, cooking pots/pans, along with spices/seasonings and baggies/plastic wrap. The living room furniture was very comfortable, as were the beds. The master bedroom and bath are lovely and large, We appreciated the thick towels, plush TP and good quality paper towels!
The not-as-good: There isn’t a dishwasher, which didn’t bother us but might be a deal breaker for some. There’s quite a disparity between the bedrooms. We slept in the smaller bedroom because we’re not very big people. It’s pretty close quarters (only a few inches between bed and one wall). Although there isn’t a closet, there are hooks for hanging things. We managed just fine by appropriating some of the laundry room space, but some might be unhappy with that arrangement. The bathroom for this bedroom is not en suite, but it has plenty of room. The shower, however, is tiny and anyone who is tallish and/or large might have a hard time turning around in it. My husband and I are under 5’6” so it didn’t present a problem for us.
All things considered, we greatly enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home. Would definitely stay here again
