"We had a wonderful stay. The hostess, Régine, is very warm and welcoming. The house is very well equipped, especially for families with little ones. The two adult bikes (each with a child seat) were in great condition (we did bring a helmet for our toddler). The kitchen has everything except spices and paper towels. We also brought laundry detergent, sheets, towels, and TP. Less than 10 minute walk to beach. Lots of nice walking and bike trails close by, plus a convenient mini-grocer. Yard has...

"Met by host, Serge, who gave us a great welcome and intro to property. Host had included some welcome treats, including a bottle of champagne and Belgian chocolates.. and Christmas decorations as we celebrated Christmas here. Fully equipped kitchen, heating and comfy beds meant a great stay. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area and it was great- the beachfront at De Haan was beautiful and easy access to Ghent and Bruges… Great communication and check out procedure… Thanks so much...

"Loved the location. Great communication. Free use of bikes. Nice washing machine for our dirty clothes. Clean. Lots of dishes for our breakfasts and tea. Best place so far this summer. (The stairs were steep up to the 3rd level for the kids - if they were younger I would have been concerned.)"

"I enjoyed very much my stay in Henk's guesthouse in Zulte. The unit is clean, quiet, and comfortable, and very nicely located. Shopping and other amenities are nearby, as is access to the heartland of flandrian cycling. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse."

"This house has everything you need for a vacation. 30-45 minutes away from the beach. The Shower is newly made. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because, in the Toilett is actually Mold on the wall and the Vacuum is very old, so its hard to work with it. But besides that, everything was fine and we really recommend this House"

"We 4 retired ladies from the USA enjoyed our 12 night stay in this apartment. The location was great. We could easily walk to the main squares, the canals, the museums and good restaurants. We were in a quiet neighborhood. A grocery store was nearby. We appreciated having a washer and a dryer. Katrien was a gracious hostess and got us wonderful seats for the Procession of the Holy Blood, a parade held in May. Katrien promptly replied to text messages and helped us with taxi service. "Recently had a long weekend here and it really is a fabulous place to stay. Situated just outside Blankenberge, it is a perfect location for the beaches, the lovely bars and restaurants in the town centre (some of the best food in Europe) and also a great base for adventuring to other towns and cities.
