"One of the worst hospitality service ever. Won't get a towel, bedsheet or toiletries. No cleanliness and smelly dusty rooms. No room service. Swimming pool with decayed leaves and house full of mosquitoes. Broken room locks and the bonus is you won't get water in toilet. Needless to say a poor management by owner and totally irresponsible behaviour. Please don't waste your money by looking at beautiful pics of the villa. Save your money for better stay. Even worst hotels will give better...

"This property was a wonderful place, even than expected. Half of the family came from New Zealand to unite with other members in Sri Lanka. We were from different cultures, met first time and everyone’s needs were different to each. When each one of us look at something, it was there and we are surprised how everything was arranged in such a wonderful way. The roof top was a place for any gathering with green surrounding..!! Very comfortable stay..!!!Thank you and see you in next time."

"This was a terrible experience and a scam! We had a confirmed booking 6 months in advance, but the host never sent access details. The host claimed he never received payment and wanted me to send him another payment to his account, or a receipt showing payment to his account. Well, that is not how it's supposed to work. "On first arriving outside the property don’t panic as through the gate you enter a different world; a peaceful piece of electric & ethnic designer heaven with the property slightly elevated from the surrounding lake with greenery & nature all around. The service provided is excellent & always with a smile. One small criticism is there are some minor maintenance jobs that are outstanding & could do with attending to in order to secure a 5* review when comparing to other small luxury hotels of that standard. But having said that we will return to the property & would thoroughly recommend it. The photographs shown on the various websites give a good impression of the property. However the true experience excels. Tuk tuks are a plenty for nearby local transport."

"The staff here were amazing. The room is nice and large and the fridge was a decent size too The property has a club and their main income is from groups booking it for parties and also on Fridays they have a DJ from 4pm so you wouldn't want to stay here over the weekend The day we checked in there was a party going on and the music was terribly loud. We had been travelling the whole day so were very tired. The loud music was supposed to finish at 11pm but went on to nearly 11:45 and we simply couldn't sleep. Thankfully there were no more parties booked in for the next two nights We did know it was far from the Centre of Colombo but didn't realise that it was in an area where it was difficult to get a tuktuk to go into town from here. The mattress protector had disintegrated which they did remove and clean up the place but it did all take time. It is something that they could have changed/checked this ahead of time. They only had two guests staying at the hotel. The hotel was doing renovation in the reception area so all surfaces were covered with dust. Despite having a dedicated cleaning person at the property they did not have him clean it until the last day The towel rail in the bathroom was broken which they did fix but it all takes time and we had to wait for them to do that. The floor tiles are particularly slippery in this place the staff were lovely and helpful Dinner was good too "
