"A very warm welcome to a very well equipped and comfortable gite. The surrounding area is very beautiful with much to see and do. Very highly recommended!!"

"The perfect getaway — lovely cosy evenings by the fire, and days spent in this heavenly French chateau and its grounds. Lots of tennis played on the clay court (sadly too chilly to use the pool) but excursions to beautiful Chablis, Auxerre and the abbey at Pontigny were particular highlights. Can’t recommend enough!"

"Great location. One street back from village centre. Spacious and well equipped townhouse with separate bedroom and bathroom in rear garden. Well serviced by under floor heating and an open fire if you’re staying in winter however we stayed during hot weather. Master bedroom is upstairs so it was very hot for sleeping. Advertised as having air conditioning but the portable unit provided in the middle of the bedroom expelled hot air from its rear which made the room hotter rather than cooler."

"We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely house with peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The house has got everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Having en suite bathrooms for each bedroom was great and suited our group well. The house and grounds are very well maintained and so spacious. The pool kept the kids happy and entertained for hours! "The house was perfect for a large group, we ate most of our meals in the outdoor area which was sheltered from the sun and we could watch the kids in the pool. The house was well equipped and clean. It was great having the outdoor cooking area which had a fridge and dishwasher. There isn’t anything in the village but activities are close by so it’s not a problem. I would recommend for large groups."

"We were informed that we could not arrive before 4pm on Saturday as the property would be cleaned and prepared before this time. On arrival it was obvious that this was not the case. The entrance gate had rubbish bins overflowing with trash in 40 degrees heat. The front garden was overgrown with weeds. The back garden was full of stinging nettles and the lawn overgrown. On Sunday morning the owner arrived and mowed the lawn and cut the nettles back at 9am. The hot tub had flooded the room...

"We had a wonderful stay at the 17th century mansion. It is obvious that a lot of love and time has been spent on the renovation. The house had numerous rooms for relaxing and a very large, well equipped kitchen. Some rooms were harder to heat, but most were very comfortable. There was a little mix up prior to check in regarding a security deposit needed at time of arrival, but we reached an agreement. The house was very convenient and there was parking very near by."

"This was just perfect for a much needed break. A warm welcome and a well equipped house. Spent most of the time sitting in the back garden admiring the view! Only one very slight comment about the wi-fi; signal is almost non-existent so even surfing is very slow, perfect if you are not in a hurry:) And yes, the bread machine allowed us to meet other people from this and surrounding villages at 8am, don't delay as it goes very fast!"

"It was a wonderful hotel and the staff was very friendly. We arrived late and no parking was available we had to park in a public lot about 2 blocks away. We had dinner our first night and were disappointed with the limited menu and they seems to be short staff. We think because no place in Chablis is open on Sunday night, everyone in town was eating at the hotel. We didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked fabulous. That said, we did have a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. "

"We were very happy with the offering at this hotel, we were able to secure a room for Friday night on short notice. The staff were very friendly and we experienced the most efficient check in of any hotel. Very quick, no wasted effort, and a friendly exchange with the counter staff. After a change of shift overnight, the staff continued to be friendly and engaging with the customers. The room is as advertised, everything is comfortable and clean. Very acceptable level of quality, it is not fancy or boutique yet it is a very high value offering for the price point. We had the breakfast, that was as advertised with a good variety on offer, much more than a simple continental breakfast. I would return here again anytime. "

"This is a beautiful place to stay for bed and breakfast . The chateau has been sympathetically renovated and the rooms are quirky and individual - each tastefully decorated to a very high standard. The host is also wonderful - welcoming and very knowledgeable. Really strongly recommend this place if you are looking for something more personal and in tune with the history and region."
