"The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable with an amazing pool and gardens. We stayed here for 5 nights and were very well looked after by the manager of the property and the ladies who were there to cook meals if needed. The food cooked for us was the best that we had during our two week stay in Sri Lanka! Communications with the owners while booking our stay were so easy and pleasant. We would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing stay in this part of the country."

"We have stayed in the willa unfortunately only 1 week....what a shame! We traveled as 2+3 children and everything was just great, location, villa itself, our guide Rex and great cook Pushpa. Without them our stay would be just half experience. Rex showed us amazing places like Yala national park or even the trip around Wadduwa was unique experience. He is such a great person! Food was great as well, we had to take some recepies from Pushpa to try to cook some of the curry at home....although I...

The only think to be aware of is that the Villa is on a main road, and very close to the railway line which is very noisy throughout the night and did rather spoil our stay. "This is a great beach villa, this was our last stop of our tour of Sri Lanka and we were all ready for a rest! The villa is great for that, right on the beach and a tuktuk ride away from the next town. It had everything we needed: 2 good bedrooms and full working kitchen. The team were great and looked after us superbly well. All requests were catered for including shopping, cooking meals, extra towels. Our trip coincided with Sri Lankan New Year and everyone is on holiday - the Blue Parrot team...

We loved our stay at The Long House!

"We stayed 4-nights in a beach view room on the first floor. Room was a good size and well appointed with large patio area for relaxing. The property had lots of relaxing lounges including library and a small gym. The pool had sun loungers that could be transferred to the beach if preferred. Pool was lovely and refreshing after walks along the beach. Direct access to the beach, across the local railway line (local train passes around once an hour - this didn’t impact our stay at The Long House). Walk into Bentota via the beach was about 20-minutes or 5-minutes in a Tuk Tuk. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We loved our stay. "
