Very convenient to Gatwick Airport at a reasonable price. Clean rooms and a cooked breakfast on request

Who leaves one biscuit for two guests? Central heating did not work even when turning up thermostat. Someone previously had been smoking in the room as the area outside of the window was full of cigarette butts. Reception not there when we arrived, had to phone to get someone to come. If you want a full service hotel with a small inn or B&B feel to it - Hotel du Vin is a great choice. The food in the Bistro was excellent and the service from the team in the bar is wonderful as well. Great location for walking to local restaurants and shopping. We would definitely recommend the Hotel du Vin.

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was beautiful and (when I was there) very quiet. There's also a small sauna and steam room, and a tiny (but perfectly formed) gym, Excellent breakfast selection, and again staff very helpful, even with late arriving guests. The bar menu was limited, but delicious. Had one of the best curries I've ever had there. It's a very convenient distance from Gatwick by car, so well worth staying at for an overnight before a journey. Delightful place. Would thoroughly recommend.
