But it was not a problem as no other animals around not much traffic on the roads as well. Very nice surroundings, beautiful mountain 360 views on top of the Mount Benambra summit. There's much to do even if you are not into fishing."

"My daughter lives and works an hour away from Tawonga South and was keen to explore the local area. I travelled from Newcastle, NSW, and we had a fantastic time walking around the local sights and enjoyed a drive to Bright, Porepunkah and Mt Buffalo chalet - an amazing part of the world with so much to see and do. "We as a group of 7 had a wonderful stay at Summit Ridge. Ann and Keith are excellent hosts, who genuinely care for the comfort of your stay. The lodge appears recently renovated, with no detail spared in the rooms - from hooks to hang your jackets, to dressing gowns to wear to the spa downstairs. The dinner in the restaurant was top-notch, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses of quality fare and a very good wine list. Summit Ridge is conveniently located between Village Bowl and Slalom Plaza; would be ski in/out with enough snow cover; plus has the shuttle stop no6 right outside. There is also Central Snowsports rental opposite if you need to hire gear. We can't wait to come back!"
