Our quiet holiday home is located in the former borderland between Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Schleswig-Holstein in the European nature reserve Natura 2000. Here you will find, as otherwise hardly, unspoilt beaches and cliffs lined with deciduous forests.
The ground floor of the 125m2 holiday home is adjoined to the entrance area by an open fully equipped kitchen (fridge / freezer with 3 freezers, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, oven, coffee maker, kettle, toaster) and a spacious dining area with fireplace. The adjoining living area is furnished with comfortable leather armchairs and a reading corner with a small selection of exciting literature. The ground floor has a bathroom with shower / WC and a laundry dryer in the utility room.
Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms with cozy king-size box spring beds with full-length mattress and a large bathroom with shower / WC and 2 sinks. The largest of the 3 bedrooms spreads over 2 floors and has access to the developed loft.
The entire house is heated by underfloor heating.
In the living area is the flat screen TV as well as a Panasonic Design micro system (CD player, Bluetooth smartphone pairing, USB) and Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
On the terrace, which can be reached directly from the living-dining area, you can barbecue or rest on the lawn in the sun loungers. Enjoy the open view of nature.
On the property there are 2 parking spaces and other public parking next to the house. Shops and a gas station can be found in about 7 km away Dassow.
In the surroundings of the holiday home numerous leisure activities await you.
In the neighboring Harkensee, within walking distance, you must visit the ice-coffee.
From the house just 1500 meters away you can reach the beautiful Baltic Sea beach.
2.5 km walk from the house there is a kitesurfing school, but the associated beach section is also easily accessible by car.
The area is ideal for long bike rides, bicycles can be rented directly in the village. The seaside resort Lübeck-Travemünde is located only about 9 km west of Barendorf, in the east it goes along the Baltic Sea coast to
Schlossgut Groß Schwansee (6 km) and to the seaside resort Boltenhagen (20 km).
Also recommended is a beach walk or a walk along the Green Belt Germany on the former inner German border.
Hiking is also possible thanks to the extensive forests along the coast, such as the Lenorenwald.
If you like regional game, we recommend the Ostseejägerhof nearby.
In the wider area is definitely worth a visit to Castle Bothmer, there is held, among other things, every summer a special open-air concert followed by fireworks. Worthwhile is also a day trip to the Hanseatic cities Lübeck or Wismar.
