The property is well-appointed with appropriate kitchen appliances, w-fi, etc. but for me its superlative point is the garden. An ideal space for my energetic dog to endlessly chase the ball.This is my second stay and I will definitely come back.

This cute little cottage is perfect for a couple or solo trip, house was cosy and has a decently stocked kitchen with all the basics you’d need. Really comfy bed, it was lovely having a slow morning (due to a generous midday check out) relaxing and watching the birds in the backyard. Will definitely visit again! Pam was an excellent host, great communication and cottage was clean and tidy.

Having had a short break at Tara Cottage some years ago, we were happy to stay there again. The cottage is cosy and comfortable in a quiet area. Everything you need is supplied. Dogs are welcome. Excellent for a short, relaxing break.

This cottage is perfect for a single or couple. It was very clean amd tidy and had everything we needed. Its also in a great location so close to the main strip. And the best part is its dog friendly!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Tara Cottage with our pets! It's a lovely property well catered for a couple with pets and very centrally located in Daylesford. We would definitely come back!

My partner and I (and our Golden Retriever) loves our short stay. The location is perfect, walking distance to town and to the beautiful lake. The cottage was very clean, spacious and had everything that we needed. I would highly recommend a visit.

Had a lovely stay at Tara Cottage. Nice walking distance to the Main Street and coffee (Cliffy’s or Harvest). Loved the extra touches for our Lucy dog. Just note parking is on the street with step access.

It’s a bit like something out of a fairy tale: behind an impenetrable wall of plants and small trees, lies a hidden beauty. Fortunately accessible down a charming pathway. The house is just right for two people (no pets in our case). It is quiet and comfortable with a gorgeous old established garden full of rambling roses and lovely scents. And the view across the valley to Wombat Hill and the convent is perfect. We felt transported to another time, whilst having all of the modern conveniences in abundance.
