"Spacious (Marquis) lots of space for 3 people. Very close walk to everything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is well appointed although we ended up only doing breakfasts in our room. Dining room table is large and good for playing cards (seats at least 6 people). Only knock was couch was ok but could have been a little more comfortable- maybe just add some cushions. Had elevator which was nice vs carrying luggage up 3 flights. "

"Location excellent as very near centre. Would have been good to know about the 6 flights of stairs in the property description. A number of minor issues which we notified straight away - to be fair we asked for nobody to fix them while we were there but I took photos on arrival so we wouldn't be accused of anything."

"So central and with car space, easy to get to and get around Bruges. House was cleanest we’ve ever rented and well equipped with comfortable sitting room and kitchen. Rhonda was easy to communicate with and meet on arrival with lots of useful recommendations. We found the stairs a little steep from upstairs bedrooms to downstairs bathroom. Shower was great!"

"We were a large family group renting the property for a week for a reunion. Beautiful, high-design property - tip top shape. Everyone enjoyed the pool, sauna and playground. Adults stayed in the main house and teenagers/young adults in the pool house. Lots of different spaces to gather and also escape for some quiet time. Some wonderful restaurants nearby."

"La maison est grande et confortable : 4 chambres, un grand salon-salle à manger, une cuisine bien équipée, deux salles de bains, un jacuzzi etc. Dans une rue calme, elle est idéalement située pour visiter l'agglomération (Lille, Roubaix, Tourcoing, Belgique). C'est une maison très bien adaptée pour une famille ou un groupe d'amis. Attention toutefois aux escaliers qui sont assez raides, et qui peuvent causer des difficultés aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Je recommande vivement cette maison."

"Hans & Magda were lovely, on property, hosts, very accommodating. Short walk (10 mins) from train station, and easy walk to the main square. Close enough to pop in & out of to have a rest or drop things off. Nice garden with seating to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine. Small kitchen but other than picking up breakfast items, we chose to eat out."

"This is a beautiful accommodation in a beautiful setting. The description is correct in noting the "eye for detail": the interior decor is stunning. The loft / open concept was ideal for my husband, son and I and the location allowed for daytrips to Bruges, Ghent as well as some cycling along the canal (although the bicycles are in need of some maintenance)."

Our room was large, clean and comfortable. I wish every place had this much closet space! It's an old building so the stairs are a bit steep and we're on the older side, so the two of us took up one suitcase at a time and it worked out well.
