This charming cabin is perfectly located within walking distance to Terry Peak and is in the heart of the Northern Black Hills recreation corridor. You can be skiing or snowmobiling in minutes, cruising or hiking through Spearfish Canyon within 10 minutes, or gambling in Deadwood within a short 10 minute drive. There won't be a problem finding things to do nearby while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the property.

After coming back from your daily adventures, you'll enjoy coming back to your very own cabin. This newly renovated cabin is complete with an open kitchen perfect for entertaining guests. Hardwood flooring to set the mood of being in your favorite cabin, vaulted ceilings with large windows to the outside and a gas fireplace to kick your feet up at after long days on the trails. There's garden doors that open up into the outdoor partially covered deck space with great privacy, a grill, and hot tub. The lower level is perfect for gathering with a family room with walk-out access. You'll have no problem watching wildlife stroll by as you enjoy some time with your family/friends. There's a queen bed in each of the bedrooms and a loft that includes 4 single beds. You'll also have access to the oversized 1 car garage for your vehicle or motorcycles/snowmobiles ready for those adventurous days. Amazing Stay

Myself and all my children stayed there for a weekend and absolutely loved it! It had everything needed and more. We enjoyed the hot tub, went sledding and warmed up by the fire after a full day of skiing!! Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place that is close to the ski resort. Overall thoroughly enjoyed it and would stay again. Just needs minor maintenance completed for next stay. Bathroom downstairs needs some draino in the shower. And the kitchen needs a new set of kitchen knifes that are sharper than a chopstick.

Quiet oasis

We love the comfort and amenities!! Lot’s of room to spread out if needed. Hot tub was nice and relaxing. The house was stocked nicely. We will return for Winter sports!! Host was easy to communicate with.

The cabin is nicely updated. We had everything we needed during our stay for cooking meals. The housekeeping missed a few things before our stay, but overall very clean. Location is perfect. Views are great. This is our second time renting this cabin.

Excellent ski weekend

Everyone had a fantastic time. The cabin was very comfortable and had lovely surroundings. Only feedback is that they may want to get washcloths as some folks use those and there are none.

Girls Getaway

This location was perfect for our girls' getaway weekend. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. In addition to the house, we also enjoyed the deck and hot tub. Although we didn't ski this weekend, we did WALK to Terry Peak to watch the pond skimming fun! Would definitely stay here again.

I love how the cabin was decorated. We love the cieling. Downstairs basement was great as well. Having some windows you could open on the main floor would be the only thing I would change.

Spacious cabin a short distance from ski resort

Our family of 5 really enjoyed this home away from home in close proximity to the Terry Peak ski resort. We had planned on another family joining us, but they weren't able to. We had plenty of room and everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We cooked breakfast and supper at the cabin each day. Hot tub just out the front door was great after a chilly day on the mountain. Warming features in bathrooms were appreciated.

Great Property

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Cabin was clean and had everything needed for the stay. We ate several meals at the cabin, and used the grill. The cabin had everything a person would need. From, extra kitchen supplies, to extra blankets and pillows. We absolutely loved it. The Hot tub was so nice and we enjoyed sitting it as it snowed outside. We absolutely would stay again at this cabin if we come back to Lead.

Summer stay

There were lots of options for sleeping arrangements given the various ages of children in our group (2-10 years). The kitchen was very well stocked. Having a washer and drier was very helpful and the hot tub was also very nice. We had some issues with temperature regulation when it was warm outside; fortunately, some storms rolled in and we were able to keep things cool with open windows.

Beautiful location and cabin

Great cabin within walking distance of skiing. Ample amount of beds for our family of eight. Nice hot tub! Master bed very comfortable, other beds were semi comfortable. Power went out and black hills energy got it going again within 2.5 hrs. No large flashlights in the house to assist during that time. That would be a recommendation. Otherwise, we had a great stay and would book again! Beautiful setting.

Rental for Terry Peak Ski Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place to stay but still could not get out of driveway with our 16 passenger van and no sand was available as requested. Luckily we had friends staying in Deadwood who brought us some. Not feasable for everyone to have a four wheel drive vehicle as suggested by manager!

Refusal of return on deposit!!

I will start by saying cabin is very nice & comfy. BUT we sat down to dinner & chair my son-in-law sat in creaked quite loudly, we made a small Joke that chair may throw him off. Well it in fact did it broke in two & threw him to floor bumping head on wall. Other chairs quite loose & wobbly. Now property managers won’t give back deposit and refuses to answer my phone calls or texts. This wasn’t a group of young people partying & destroying property. It was me, my children and significant others all in late 20’s and a 5 month old baby. We simply went to play games have Thanksgiving and enjoy each other.
