"If you want a terrible night sleep, stay here. The hotel was empty but I was put in the room next to reception which is honestly terrible unless you don't want to sleep. There is a big gap between the floor and the door so you might as well just leave the door open at this stage. When I asked if I could be moved to another room, I was told I would have to pay extra to upgrade. If a hotel can't provide the basics of a quiet room, it doesn't meet its primary function. "The one word that accurately sums up this place is "disappointing". The pictures were obviously taken with lighting that hid or obscured the poor condition the walls and parts of the house were in. The shower was so tiny that I had to use it hunched over almost 90 degrees. There were multiple sockets that were closed off with just duct tape, and the kitchen was in serious need of repainting. "We were completely bowled over by this beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable we had the best night sleep. Lovely bathroom and plenty of hot water. We were travelling with our dog and the hotel is very dog friendly. The breakfast was very delicious and you can have cooked, cereals, toast and pastries.
