House on the Lake + Guest House: Unique Oasis

PLEASE NOTE* Price includes all bedrooms in the Main house made up for guests.
However there is an extra cost to use the separate Guest House for groups under 6 guests ($300 per stay), the Guest House is included free of charge for larger groups of 7-10 guests.

Feel like you are in another world staying at this tranquil, unique oasis. With the serenity & vastness of a rural property, House on the Lake is only a short stroll to fantastic cafes & the centre of Denmark town.

House on the Lake is a beautiful architecturally designed split level home sitting on a huge fresh water lake, surrounded by a spectacular garden setting.

THE MAIN HOUSE:
Has 3 spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms all on the top level. All bedrooms have stunning garden views, with the master king bedroom spoilt with its own ensuite, separate bath overlooking the garden & private deck.

The main house has a maximum capacity of 6 people and 4 extra guests can stay in the Guest House (details below).

The main house living area, with its sunken lounge room has the ambience of a retreat with soaring, double height cathedral ceilings with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful lake. The reverse cycle air-conditioning and slow combustion fire provides a cosy setting for those cooler nights with your favourite glass of local red.

Preparing delicious meals in the kitchen or on the BBQ with stunning views and sitting right on the water on the huge deck will further enhance your enjoyment of this unique space. At 4pm be ready for a spectacular show when the lake fountain automatically appears.

The loft area which can be used as an adults retreat or office space is well lit with a skylight & has stunning views from the gable window. WiFi is provided.

GUEST HOUSE:
A 2 storey retreat that is separate from the main house, however accessible via a covered walkway, this 2 bedroom apartment can be used as an extension for your family's holiday (rooms have 2 x queen beds).

The Guest House is fully self contained with its own bathroom & the kitchenette is generously supplied with everything you need for a comfortable stay including a fridge/freezer, coffee machine, convection microwave, double portable hot plate, blender and electric frypan.

The covered patio area has an outdoor table setting so you can relax watching the local kangaroos having their evening meal on the lawn. A washer/dryer is also a welcome addition for guests.

* Very high & narrow internal staircase is not suitable for the elderly or people with mobility issues.

* The bedroom upstairs is an open loft style room with no door. The other bedroom is downstairs with a door. The bathroom/toilet is downstairs.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:

* Due to water safety issues children, this property is unsuitable for children under the age of 12.

* No fishing or swimming allowed in lake.

* No loud parties or events allowed at this residential property.

* Strictly No Leavers / Schoolies Bookings.

* The Main House and Guest House are not suitable for people with mobility issues. The main house is split level with many internal stairs and the Guest House has one bedroom upstairs, please consider this carefully when booking for guests with mobility issues.

* No pets allowed at this property.
