"We loved our entire experience at Carton House. The food was amazing, the room was impeccably clean, the scenery was incredibly beautiful, and my husband loved the golf! We had a picnic on the grounds which was a highlight. The staff was all very friendly and made consistent effort to help us out when we had inquiries. We brought out 10 month old baby with us and were able to take her for walks around the grounds and bring her to all the restaurants without feeling like she was a burden, thanks to the staff's warmth. We brought her to the pool during kid hours too! We felt especially well taken care of my Emma who was one of the managers at the Carriage House. Additionally, the spa was beautiful and extremely relaxing. The only issue we had throughout our experience was difficulty with getting the phone answered at Guest Services, but when we brought it up everyone was really helpful and understanding."

"Very quick check in. The staff are accommodating. The food were great just a bit of a wait to give us the bill but the food portion at dinner time was big enough. The pool was a plus"

"Room was clean, had everything we needed and had a balcony! Breakfast was a continental and hot food buffet. Dinner was beautiful and well priced. Beautiful hotel with lots of amenities including library, snooker, pool, jacuzzi, gym, hairdressers, spa and golf course. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of parking. Lots of areas to sit and lounge/chill out. Disappointed that the rooftop bar that was so highly advertised was closed and padlocked. Yes the weather hasn't been great but it should still be an option for people when it has been advertised so much. Shower was one in the bath. You couldn't adjust the height and no pressure. Online said check in was 4pm but posters in the hotel said 3pm. Reception said "it just depends if we are busy" so probably best to phone and check. Check out is 11am. Usually when check in is 4, check out is 12."

"Great hotel with a good vibe. Arrived in the afternoon and sat in the courtyard with live music playing. Great location, only downside was trying to find the entrance, I think it needs a little more explanation , you actually drive through a public car park to access theirs!"
