"The property was ideally placed for access to local transport networks to easily get around and see the best of Nice. Due to its location (just across the road) from the beach it was slightly more pricey than I would have liked due to the condition of the property. For examples some light switch covers kept falling off, the sofa bed was dated, and the railing in one of the lifts was very loose/broken, but the location easily made up for it. "Nice swimming pool and big clean room with big bathroom (we had a family studio). Staff very friendly and big underground car park available on site. The only thing is that given the location you need the car to go out for dining, shopping and to the beach, but this goes without saying if you look at where the hotel is located on the map."

"Great location, friendly staff. Decent room, bathroom was really big. Well eqipped kitchette. The road its on was fairly busy during our stay so if your a light sleeper id suggest asking for a room that doesn’t face the road. Our aircon didnt seem to work that well , the room was fairly got most of the time despite setting the thermosat to a low temp,as we visited in winter this wasnt a huge issue though and we didnt report it."

"Tried a different location in Nice this stay and it was last munute and prices high. Overall good. Walk to beach, old Nice, main shopping street and port. Good (not small places as some other Nice hotel parking) underground parking (16€/day)."

"I wanted to describe my amazing stay at Maison Lamartine so that anybody traveling to Nice will be advised of this most wonderful establishment. As soon as I arrived, the staff met me outside to take in my luggage and suggest a nearby parking garage where I was given a special rate for parking with in-out privileges. "Great location and staff very friendly.....general amenities let this hotel down sadly....even thought they say theres a bar there isent and getting a simple coffee can be difficult ..one lift out of two not working....some areas look tired and bathrooms need updating but beds are really comfortable and breakfast buffet has a good choice....for the price i would stay here again"
