"VRBO need to keep a check on these properties, because this one now, no longer looks as good in real life as what the photos show. "+ Easy check-in and receptionist spoke good English. Hotel collected deposit of 300 Euros. - Double bed much too small for two people. Sofabed so squeaky that it will likely wake up the whole room if you move at all. - Aircondition in room - but not working. - Showerhead could not be fastened. "The room was quite small for 2 adults and 2 children and there was a lot of noise from the interconnecting family room next door. The main problem was that the floors were filthy. The facilities in the room were OK. It was quite a long hike to get to the slopes and to restaurants. Overall OK but if we went back to Pra-loup we'd aim to stay further up the hill"

"We had a great stay at Lac Sainte-Croix. Patrick and Bernadette were lovely and everything was as pictured on the listing. There is a little terrace with a beautiful view of the lake and a kitchen with everything you need to cook if you want to stay in. There is also a restaurant downstairs (same building as the apartment if you don’t feel like driving) but we really preferred taking the car and either do our groceries at Riez or simply move around to discover the different villages and beaches....

"Staff was welcoming; breakfast buffet was satisfying and convenient although a little pricey. They provided bacon, which made it definitely worth it! Room was really clean and terrace was nice and opened up into a larger area. Old town was within walking distance, but raining a lot so didn't try it. Wifi solid and strong; very quiet. worth a visit!"

Wonderful Spit

"We stayed two nights to see the gorges. It was wonderful. The facility is lovely….well laid out….great hot tub/pool….and the view from our room was beautiful. The Gorges du Verdon is a gem…..be sure to drive the loop and then the long way round….stunning."
