"Host was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Bed was comfortable. A/C worked well. Only complaint was curtains are needed. Property is very well lit after dark, which is great, but trying to sleep with blinds only was not fun. "

"Stayed here as a quick trip into Brenham from Houston, Audrey the front desk clerk was amazing very polite and sweet. The room was perfect for what we needed. "Rooms remodeled, however the refrigerator was warm and dried mud on the bathroom floor around the toilet. The bathroom door also very hard to open abd close as it was swollen. Soap and coffee in the room, no shampoo or conditioner, make sure you take your own. My pillow smelled old. The area felt safe. We arrived late checked in no problem. We left to get some food and returned to find the 2nd door locked leading into the main building. Upon arrival 15 minutes earlier the doors were open. ...

"Loved the unique concept and rustic decor. The main inconvenience was no bathroom sink. We had to brush teeth, etc. in kitchen. Also, ceiling fan and shower could have been cleaner. One light bulb in bedroom was broken and just hanging so we didn't turn it on. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. "
